These terms govern your use of Contracting Connect, operated by Solid Contract Solutions Ltd. By creating an account you agree to them.
Contracting Connect lets contractors record the qualifications they hold and lets hiring companies search for contractors by those qualifications, post roles and message contractors. We are an introduction platform. We are not an employment agency or employment business, we do not employ contractors, and we are not a party to any engagement agreed between a contractor and a company.
You must only record qualifications you genuinely hold, and the details must match the issuing body's record. Recording a qualification you do not hold, or altering details to misrepresent one, is grounds for immediate suspension.
Where we mark a qualification as verified, that means we checked it against the issuing body's register or reviewed the evidence supplied, on the date shown. It is a record of that check, not a guarantee, and it does not transfer responsibility for competence or site compliance away from the hiring company. Companies remain responsible for their own checks and for meeting their legal duties.
An expired qualification never counts towards a role.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why where we are able to.
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a contractor will find work or that a company will fill a role. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for any engagement agreed between users. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may update these terms and will give notice of material changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
